Job summary

TE Connectivity invites interns to join the Connected Living Solutions business unit in Middletown, PA, for a 10–12 week program. You will help design concepts for outdoor lighting and harsh connectivity for industrial applications, and redesign existing products to reduce material usage and CO2 impact.

This role involves global collaboration with TE teams for design reviews and manufacturability assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing or holding a BA/BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product design concepts and present to internal teams and external customers.
• Gain knowledge on typical simulation techniques used in early product development.
• Coordinate the creation of prototypes to show proof of concept.
• Create design of experiment plans to test products in various stress states.
• Prepare and participate in design reviews, FMEA reviews and quality planning for new products.
• Interact with team members on cost savings and CO2 reduction/sustainability projects.

Education

Equivalent work experience or gap year considered
