Job summary

Lupin Pharmaceuticals seeks a Procurement Leader for R&D Innovation and Contract Manufacturing in the US. You will lead category strategies for API, excipients, packaging, lab consumables, and analytical services, overseeing SAP/Ariba processes and vendor negotiations.

You will collaborate with R&D teams, ensure compliant purchasing, drive cost improvements, and manage supplier qualifications and change controls across Lupin US sites. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
5–10 years buying for R&D or contract manufacturing in pharma/healthcare.
Experience with SAP/Ariba systems preferred.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharma procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop cost-effective procurement strategies for API, excipients, packaging, lab consumables, and services.
Oversee technical packages/DMFs and pre-development to commercialization stages.
Lead supplier qualification, change controls, and risk assessment.
Coordinate RFQ development, supplier selection, and bid evaluations.
Ensure SAP data integrity and timely PO processing across Lupin US sites.
