Job summary

Lupin Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist in New Jersey to oversee end-to-end lifecycle of R&D and manufacturing suppliers.

The role blends strategic procurement with strict quality compliance, owning Veeva QMS workflows, driving audits, CAPAs, and SCARs to ensure supplier materials meet regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with QA, Regulatory, and supply chain teams to uphold cGMP and FDA compliance across the supplier network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Quality Management, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, vendor management, or procurement compliance within a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, cGMP, or FDA regulations depending on the sector.
• Preferred credentials include ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between pharmaceutical manufacturing/R&D teams and external suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance metrics and conduct regular business reviews.
• Oversee qualification and onboarding of new raw material, API, and clinical trial suppliers.
• Coordinate audits and compliance activities with QA, Regulatory and other teams.
