Pride Global is seeking a Process Technician 3 for an R&D environment in Fremont, CA. This onsite role focuses on advanced process development, experiments, sample prep, and data collection to support semiconductor manufacturing technology.

The ideal candidate will have a technical bachelor’s degree and internship or professional experience, with strong attention to detail and a readiness to learn new equipment and procedures in a cleanroom setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science/technical discipline as listed in the ad.
• Internship, co‑op, or some prior professional work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on R&D environment.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Onsite collaboration with multiple engineering and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tests, experiments, and process development activities in an R&D laboratory environment.
• Set up and operate processing and laboratory equipment for engineering experiments.
• Prepare samples and execute process flows per procedures.
• Support experimental runs and collect accurate process data.
• Operate metrology equipment for measurements (thin‑film, CD, SEM).
• Create/modify process recipes and tune for robustness.
• Monitor process performance and identify trends/out-of-spec conditions.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting and equipment alarms.
