Job summary

Ingredion in Bridgewater, NJ seeks an Intern in Process Innovation & Development to support a defined research project on nature-based ingredient processing. You will run lab and pilot trials, analyze data, and help define scale-up conditions for new products.

You will work safely in a lab/pilot plant, document results, and present findings to management. This internship is ideal for an undergrad in Chemical Engineering seeking hands-on experience before graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
• Lab and pilot plant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain lab/pilot equipment with guidance.
• Conduct lab and pilot trials and collect data.
• Analyze results and suggest scale-up conditions.
• Prepare pilot quantities for internal/customer evals.
• Document data in the ELN and report findings.
• Present progress to team and stakeholders.
• Adhere to GMP, safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Collaborate with peers and manage multiple tasks.
