Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ, invites an ambitious student to join our R&D team as a Process Innovation & Development Intern for Summer 2027. You will support a well-defined research project on nature-based ingredient processing, running lab and pilot trials, and helping scale‑up new products.

You'll analyze data, define scale-up requirements, and report findings to the team. Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Chemical Engineering or a related field and able to

Qualifications

• Undergrad pursuing Chemical Engineering or related field with lab/pilot plant skills.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory and pilot plant environment.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reliable transportation to the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment safely to support project needs.
• May modify standard operating procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow GMPs.
• Conduct literature/patent searches and analyze current technology.
• Summarize outcomes in reports and present to team.
• Organize, summarize and report data from experiments.
• Record data in ELN and archiving databases.
