Job summary

DSJ Global seeks a Process Engineer - R&D for a global confectionery manufacturer in the Greater Reading, PA area. You will lead process development, commercialization, and scale-up efforts from concept to production, collaborating with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Production teams.

The role offers high visibility within a global organization, exposure to premium brands, and opportunities to drive innovative product launches with hands-on technical support during launches and documentation for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in food, confectionery, or chocolate manufacturing with product development or process development exposure.
Experience leading plant trials and scaling up products from concept to launch.
Strong communication across production and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Lead process development and commercialization for new products and improvements.
Plan and execute plant trials, support scale-up activities, and assist with product launches.
Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement to solve technical challenges.
Develop technical docs, process specs, validation plans, and recommendations for commercialization.
