Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Manager of Business Operations focused on Purchase Order Management in Center Square, PA. You will generate and manage POs in SAP/Ariba, translate contract terms into PO structures, and ensure financial setup aligns with budgets and policies.

You will collaborate with R&D, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing, monitor PO lifecycles, support audits, and drive process improvements. A 5-year pharma/biotech background and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in pharma/biotech business or procurement operations.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders in SAP/Ariba.
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and invoicing.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory/compliance in vendor payments.

Responsibilities

• Create, generate, and manage POs in Ariba/SAP after contract execution.
• Translate payment terms and milestones into PO structures.
• Review agreements for proper financial setup and budgets.
• Process PO changes, amendments, and closures with compliance.
• Generate PO performance reports and support month-end close.
