Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a semiconductor or packaging environment.
• Root-cause and failure analysis experience for etch defects.
• Knowledgeable in vacuum system fundamentals and plasma chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify plasma etch and PVD seed deposition processes.
• Establish process flows and optimize etch selectivity.
• Perform root-cause analysis on process defects.

Skills

Hands-on experience with plasma etch process development

Direct experience with PVD sputter deposition

Experience with plasma-based dielectric ablation techniques

Knowledge of plasma chemistry fundamentals

Proficiency with vacuum system fundamentals

Metrology and characterization skills

DOE design and statistical analysis for process optimization

Root-cause and failure analysis experience

Education

Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics

M.S. with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
