Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Rockford, IL is seeking a Senior Materials Planner to own the inventory plan (RAW, WIP, FG) aligned with AOP/SFP objectives. You will ensure on-time delivery to production lines and customers, manage planning, staging, and fulfillment, and lead continuous improvement in material planning.

Qualifications include a university degree with 5+ years experience, SAP experience, capacity planning, leadership, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
SAP Experience is required.
Capacity planning experience is essential.
Experience driving product flow and on-time delivery.
Demonstrated leadership competency.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the inventory plan (Raw, WIP, Finished Goods) aligned with AOP/SFP objectives.
Ensure on-time delivery to production lines and customers by managing planning, staging, and fulfillment processes.
Coordinate with manufacturing to manage changes in production priorities or order modifications.
Champion continuous improvement for material planning, receiving, storage, staging, and WIP control.
Mentor and train Production Planners and coordinate with PMT and cross-functional teams.
