Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience.
• Histotechnologist Certification (HTL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routine histology including trimming, processing, embedding and sectioning of paraffin and frozen tissues.
• Routine and special histochemical staining.
• Use computer-based lab tracking systems (Sample Manager, Dream Path) to manage samples.
• Willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research group and handle multiple projects.
