Qualifications

• Majors include Packaging Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Packaging Science (MS).
• Graduating between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to work in a lab with various materials, including dust.
• Fine motor skills to prototype samples.
• Knowledge of ASTM packaging testing methods.
• Working knowledge of packaging software (ArtiosCAD and TOPS).
• Ability to learn fast and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-project management.
• Confident self-starter with independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation: develop packaging that delivers a superior consumer experience while meeting function and regulatory requirements.
• Execute with Technical Excellence: own end-to-end development from concept to scale-up, including testing and validation.
• Own the Technical Details: create and manage packaging specs, including weights and configurations for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
• Support Commercialization: develop SOPs, test methods, and lead pilot and production trials, analyze results and troubleshoot.
• Collaborate Across Functions: work with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to meet objectives and reduce risk.
