Job summary

TEEMA Group in Hermitage, PA is seeking an R&D Engineer to lead development and commercialization of aerosol, beverage, and specialty packaging products. You will partner with customers, operations, and engineering to turn concepts into manufacturable products meeting performance, quality, and commercial objectives.

You will drive end-to-end product development, create concepts with 2D/3D tools, and oversee tooling and qualification activities to ensure smooth production launches and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related field experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with GD&T inspection and measurement tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to develop engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product development from concept through production launch.
• Create product concepts using 2D drawings and 3D modeling tools.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to ensure technical and commercial viability.
• Develop, build, and validate prototypes to confirm design intent and performance.
• Prepare quotations and oversee tooling packages for new products.
• Lead tooling qualification activities and validate tooling prior to production release.
• Perform container sizing and OFC calculations for new designs.
