Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Loveland, CO or Indianapolis, IN seeks a Project Manager, R&D New Product Development to lead new product development and sustaining projects within the BioPharma Solutions portfolio, including particle counting, centrifugation, and cell health technologies.

The role focuses on planning, risk management, cross-functional coordination, and on-time, in-scope, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in life sciences, diagnostics, medical device, or related regulated industry.
• 3+ years leading complex product development programs from concept through commercialization.
• Experience applying design control processes and product lifecycle management in a regulated environment.
• Experience utilizing complex program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product development and sustaining projects within the BioPharma Solutions portfolio, ensuring successful project delivery and product release.
• Partner with functional leaders to establish project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans while driving alignment across project teams and stakeholders.
• Apply the Danaher Business System (DBS) to develop project metrics, utilize Daily Management, monitor project performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to project teams and stakeholders, escalating execution risks as appropriate.
• Build collaborative relationships across functions to support effective project execution and achievement of project objectives.
