Job summary

Experis Technology Group's client in the medical device industry seeks a Manufacturing Technician (R&D) to join the production support team in Plymouth, MN. This 12+ month contract role focuses on testing and validating innovative devices.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, and quality tests, follow strict instructions, document results, and collaborate with engineers. On-site position with a structured schedule and potential extension.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant experience or post-high school education.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Familiarity with medical device testing or product assembly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure precise testing procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices
• Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment at all times
