Position Title: R&D Medical Device Assembler

Hourly Pay Rate: $32-$35 (dependent upon experience)

Comprehensive Benefits Package

1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday

Location: Irvine, CA

Position Overview

In this role, you will support the development of next-generation medical technologies by assembling intricate components used in diagnostic and therapeutic catheter systems. This hands-on position is critical to the prototyping and validation phases of product development and requires a high degree of precision, dexterity, and focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex, small-part assembly operations under a microscope following engineering drawings, process documentation, and verbal instructions.
  • Solder fine wires and micro-components with consistent quality and accuracy using hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Assemble and bond delicate catheter components, including microelectronic and mechanical parts, under controlled conditions.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and provide feedback to engineering and quality teams to improve designs and processes.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of assembly processes, observations, and any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D engineers to iterate and refine prototype builds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
