Job summary

TITAN Formwork Systems seeks an on-site R&D Mechanical Engineer in Tempe, AZ to drive innovation from concept through commercialization. You will design, prototype, test, and validate components and assemblies, collaborating with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and BOMs.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Tempe, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using SolidWorks and other tools with manufacturability in mind.
• Support full life cycle product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create and evaluate prototype designs using additive manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, casting, and molding.
• Plan, conduct, and document product testing, including destructive and non-destructive load testing.
• Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs, documentation, reports, test plans, and release packages.
• Design products prioritizing installation ease, field durability, maintenance access, and repairability.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and engineering to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to review design intent and first-article samples.
• Troubleshoot design, performance, manufacturability, and field use issues.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements from field feedback and data.
