Job summary

Titan Formwork Systems seeks an R&D Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation from concept through commercialization. You will design with SolidWorks, develop prototypes, and coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain.

On-site in Tempe, AZ, you will test products, generate drawings and BOMs, and support design for manufacturability. The role emphasizes problem-solving, documentation, and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, including design, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• On-site work in Tempe, AZ in a shop environment.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks with a focus on manufacturability.
• Support full life cycle product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create and evaluate prototypes via additive manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, casting, and molding.
• Plan, conduct, and document testing, including destructive and non-destructive load tests.
• Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs, technical reports, test plans, and release packages.
• Design for end-user installation, durability, maintenance access, and repairability.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and engineering to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with offshore partners to review design intent and feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design, structural, manufacturability, and field issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on data and field feedback.
• Perform special projects and support general organizational needs.
