Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS in Baltimore, MD is seeking a hands-on R&D Manufacturing Engineer to support new development projects and the industrialization of advanced products, tooling, and processes. You will work on the shop floor and in the lab to develop manufacturing methods and tooling.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, CAD familiarity (NX/CATIA), and a passion for prototyping; the role offers strong growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Eng.
• Hands-on prototyping and manufacturing experience required.
• Familiar with NX or CATIA CAD software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and evaluate prototype parts and tooling.
• Operate and support manufacturing equipment on the shop floor.
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes in lab and shop.
• Design, build, and modify tooling, fixtures, jigs, production aids.
• Coordinate R&D builds, material orders, and schedules.
• Manage vendors and external technology partners.
