Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in science or technical related field by program start.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous lab environment project experience.
• Open to relocation for program and post-program opportunities.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship currently or in the future.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Develop key skills and experience leading to a Chemist track within Performance Coatings Group.
• Assist in research and development activities under supervision of senior chemists.
• Support knowledge of paint and coatings chemistry and formulation.
• Test methods and quality control data using statistics software.
• Contribute to project management and reporting results and findings.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technical Services.
• Assist with knowledge of supply chain and plant operations.
