Siemens Healthineers is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to join our Interventional Oncology development team in the United States. The role supports microsphere device development through testing, data collection, and design iteration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience assembling and evaluating mechanical, fluidic, or electromechanical systems.
• Experience with rapid prototyping methods and bench testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot prototype devices, test fixtures, and laboratory equipment.
• Design, build, and modify benchtop test setups to evaluate device performance.
• Support product development through prototype assembly, testing, data collection, and design iteration.
• Conduct performance characterization and verification testing of prototype systems and components.
• Assist in root cause investigations through hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Maintain prototype inventory, engineering hardware, tooling, and test fixtures.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and execute benchtop experiments and studies.
• Operate laboratory test equipment, collect data, and document findings.
