ICP Group is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to join our Tampa team. You will support R&D chemists, manufacture lab-scale batches, and perform product testing on coatings and adhesives. You will maintain records and help present findings to the team in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires college-level science coursework and a BS in a physical science is preferred. Candidates comfortable with lab duties and lifting up to 50 pounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• College level science coursework.
• Preferred BS degree in a physical science area.
• 5+ years of lab experience in coatings or adhesives preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle solvents safely.

Responsabilités

• Assist R&D Chemists on projects by preparing materials and supporting formulation tasks.
• Manufacture lab-scale batches of insulation and adhesive formulations with accuracy.
• Conduct product testing including application trials and performance evaluations.
• Apply coatings and evaluate per project testing protocols.
• Maintain organized records of lab activities and testing results.
• Present data to lead chemist or R&D team during updates.
