Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electronics, electrical, optical, or mechanical lab.
• Strong organizational skills and precise record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced R&D startup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized, functional lab across electrical, optical, and mechanical work areas.
• Assemble and modify prototype PCBs and electronic assemblies.
• Perform precision soldering and rework of miniature surface-mount components under a microscope.
• Build and modify cables, harnesses, test fixtures, and fixtures for experiments.
• Support engineers with PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and measurements.
• Operate equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and data acquisition systems.
• Set up and support optical experiments with LEDs, photodiodes, and fiber optics.
• Fabricate fixtures and enclosures using 3D printing and basic machining.
• Maintain inventory and calibration status of lab equipment and components.
• Document equipment setups and laboratory procedures for reproducibility.
