Job summary

Foundation Medicine is looking for a strategic leader to bridge R&D, Product, and IT organizations in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will shape the integration of emerging technology in a highly regulated life sciences environment, develop multi-year capability roadmaps, and own the lifecycle management of core R&D platforms.

The role combines oversight of technology investments with ITIL-based processes to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in the life sciences field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years in IT, digital, or technology roles.
• At least 5 years supporting R&D, Product Development in life sciences.
• 4+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year capability roadmaps for R&D.
• Monitor trends in R&D technology and advise leadership.
• Manage platform lifecycle and vendor relationships.
