Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (US).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Get exposure to design, develop, analyze, and document product designs meeting functional, cost, reliability, and safety requirements.
• Learn to work in an Agile environment, pull backlog items, and deliver them to acceptance criteria.
• Conform to Product Technical Specifications using Design for Six Sigma and Design for Reliability methods.
• Create and maintain User stories in Azure DevOps with documentation for design work and reviews.
• Create models and drawings using PTC Creo/Windchill for plastics, stamped metal, and electrical parts.
• Prepare and maintain product documentation and learning regulatory standards UL, CSA and NEC.
• Participate in design reviews and evaluate mechanical/electrical designs for cost effectiveness.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with purchasing and manufacturing.
