Job summary

Viaflex in Sioux Falls, SD offers a hands-on internship in manufacturing where you’ll help design and test new processes, assist with experiments, and collect data under experienced engineers. You’ll learn how to analyze results and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

You will work with mentors, participate in training, and present your findings at a summer-end internship presentation, gaining exposure to ISO quality systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, polymer science, chemistry, or physics.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and pursuing graduate studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing experiments to test new materials, processes, or technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and test process improvements.
• Support evaluation of current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present data reports, highlighting key findings and trends.
• Attend, engage in Viaflex sponsored training, events, and seminars.
• Provide periodic updates to managers and peers on assigned project(s).
