Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP in Asheville, NC is seeking an R&D Intern to join our team. You will assist with research and development projects, support production trials, and communicate findings to the R&D team.

You are currently enrolled in a college program, eager to gain hands-on experience, and capable of using Microsoft Office while learning new tools. English skills are a plus, and you will work on-site in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Motivated to gain hands-on experience and apply classroom learning.
• Basic knowledge related to the field of study.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and development projects, including new product development and material qualification activities.
• Support manufacturing trials by collecting, organizing, and analyzing production data.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate results and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Complete an independent research project and present results to the R&D team.
