Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, R&D Integration Management Office to orchestrate the seamless integration of scientific, operational, and human capital across all R&D workstreams following mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

You will own the master integration plan, drive Day 1 readiness, and track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues while chairing steering committees and working teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or Masters degree in a life sciences related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the master R&D integration plan across asset, people, process and technology domains.
• Lead end-to-end integration activities arising from mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
• Establish and chair integration steering committees; define escalation pathways and report progress to R&D leadership.
• Ensure business continuity of ongoing R&D operations, preserve pipeline and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate on organizational design, talent retention, and change management during integration.

Education

PhD or Masters in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline
