Job summary
Kraft Heinz is seeking a Technical Lead for its Global Innovation R&D team at the Glenview, IL Innovation Center. The role focuses on discovering consumer insights and rapidly delivering food and packaging solutions, guiding projects from strategy to early prototypes and scale-up.
The role requires senior-level expertise in chemical engineering with 8+ years in food/CP industries, strong collaboration, and Agile process experience. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site three days weekly.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in food/consumer products.
- Experience commercializing products end-to-end.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder influence.
- Experience with Agile and rapid experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Translate fuzzy ideas into technical plans and hypotheses.
- Lead product/pack/process development from prototype to scale-up.
- Guide teams from bench to plant trials for test markets.
- Scale products through feasibility, specs, and supply chain.
- Mentor junior scientists and champion Agile methodologies.
- Coordinate with procurement, legal, quality, operations.
