Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Glenview, IL is seeking a Design & Innovation Packaging Engineer to advance platformable packaging innovations across the North America portfolio. You will translate brand strategies and JTBD insights into viable, manufacturable packaging solutions that meet sustainability and growth goals.

Work is hybrid, with on-site presence at the Glenview R&D Center and collaboration with Innovation, Process and Platform Packaging teams, plus external partners.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Design, Engineering or Packaging preferred.
• Minimum 2 years packaging development and commercialization experience.
• Experience leading packaging design projects with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, formats, converting processes, and manufacturing constraints.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Design & Innovation initiatives to accelerate speed to market.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets with business cases.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, Operations and suppliers.
• Support pilot scale-up and handover to production teams.
