Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions in Collegeville, PA invites a Senior R&D Leader to guide a 13-person, multi-site team supporting the Cleaning Growth Platform and additional segments. You will manage labs, portfolio, stage-gate processes, and cross-functional execution.

You will partner with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Commercial, Marketing, and other functions to advance research, implementation, and commercialization while ensuring safe operations and budget stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science or related.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team with clear priorities and resource allocation.
• Attract and retain talent; conduct regular development discussions and align assignments with business strategy.
• Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations and champion EHS policies.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and related platforms; drive stage-gate progression and ROI.
• Lead cross-functional front-end teams and translate strategy into prioritized research plans.
• Oversee project delivery against milestones with rigorous scientific methods and documentation.
