Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an R&D Engineering Technician in Hudson, NH. You will collaborate with engineers to build and evaluate infrared optical systems for airborne, maritime, and space platforms.

Your role includes fabricating high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies and managing rapid prototyping resources. You will develop fixtures, use test equipment, document workflows, and travel to external labs as needed while adhering to strict cleanroom and ESD protocols.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an electro-mechanical technician
• Rapid prototyping ownership from concept to completion
• Strong electrical fundamentals
• Experience in harness and cable fabrication and precision soldering
• Ability to document workflows and draft SOPs from a technician viewpoint
• Comfort in cleanroom environments and strict ESD protocols
• Preferred: defense/aerospace or NIR/optical industry background
• Soldering certifications (IPC) are a plus; eligible for US Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and test engineers to build and test infrared optical systems for airborne, maritime and space platforms
• Fabricate and assemble high quality electro-mechanical assemblies
• Develop and implement integration and test fixtures; setup and use test equipment
• Own internal prototyping resources and manage R&D space
• Travel to external laboratories and test sites as needed
