Job summary

Munters is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to design and optimize climate control systems for commercial and industrial applications. You will select components, analyze performance, and ensure reliability while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3–5 years of HVAC design experience. You will work on projects from concept to completion with focus on sustainability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of HVAC system design and engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle and system performance.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and control systems.
• Familiarity with compressors, fans, heat exchangers and valves.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with complex assemblies in manufacturing.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
• Profound understanding of the refrigeration cycle, component functionality, and system performance optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control systems.
• Familiarity with various types of compressors, fans, heat exchangers, coils, and valves in HVAC systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with complex assemblies of many parts.
• HVAC industry experience in a manufacturer.

Desired Skills

• General knowledge of CAD
• Large commercial, chiller, or industrial refrigeration design experience
• Product testing and troubleshooting
• Experience with parts specification and parts list generation
