Job summary

Nissan USA is seeking an HR Intern in Farmington Hills, MI to gain hands-on exposure to HR programs within the R&D organization. You will support employees, partners, and leaders while contributing to onboarding, development initiatives, and data reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating HR programs, assisting with talent management processes, and providing administrative support across HR operations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development or similar.
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
• MS Office proficiency; Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead key R&D HR programs, including onboarding activities and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with talent management processes such as performance calibrations, talent reviews, and related reporting.
• Provide administrative support for HR operations (POs, invoices, expense reporting, Workday reporting, documents, communications).
• Track project milestones, maintain process documentation, and support knowledge transfer for recurring HR programs.
• Partner with HR Business Partners on special projects and organizational initiatives.
