The position offers exposure to cost optimization, supplier evaluation, and ongoing learning in a dynamic food production environment across multiple locations in the Midwest and Southeast.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Currently enrolled student with anticipated graduation by end of current semester/quarter may be eligible.
• Strong knowledge of meat and ingredients and ability to work with pilot plant equipment.
• Proficient with online systems and product development software tools.
• Ongoing improvement of food/meat science and product development skills; understanding of plant process systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of new products and line extensions from bench-top concepts to full commercialization.
• Manage product formulations in online database, create and adjust recipes, maintain project files and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document product reviews for stakeholders.
• Develop skills through training and ensure compliance with USDA/FDA regulations.
