Job summary

Solina is seeking an Associate Technologist to support product development in the meat industry, from bench top to commercialization, and to help optimize formulations and processing efficiencies.

You will conduct pilot plant tests to generate prototypes, document progress, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive cost effective solutions. Travel up to 40% may be required; safety and quality are priority in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field with 2+ years of meat processing experience.
• Strong scientific knowledge of meat and ingredients.
• Ability to work with pilot plant equipment and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing new products from bench top to commercialization.
• Run pilot plant tests to generate prototypes and document progress.
• Conduct production tests at manufacturing plants to improve quality.
