Synergy Flavors, Inc. is seeking an R&D Compounder I to prepare samples in the sweet R&D group, utilizing laboratory and pilot-scale equipment. The role collaborates with samples, flavor creation, and applications teams to ensure high-quality samples reach customers quickly.

Requires 0–5 years of experience with lab and pilot plant equipment, basic math and computer skills, and a strong safety mindset. Starting pay is $19 per hour, on-site in Wauconda, IL, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Compound finished flavors using laboratory/pilot scale equipment including weighing, heating, and mixing.
• Maintain clean and organized lab and pilot plant; perform basic maintenance.
• Coordinate with R&D teams to prioritize equipment usage and meet deadlines.
• Document batching records, equipment performance, and hours; ensure safety compliance.
