Okta is seeking a seasoned operations leader to run the financial and workforce operating engine for its Product & Technology organization (ORD). This hub-based role requires commutable distance to San Francisco, Seattle, or Chicago, and expects in-office presence several days a week.

You will own budget governance, workforce strategy, and AI-driven financial analysis, partnering with executive leadership to define and execute an ambitious growth plan for ORD and Auth0.

Competenze

• 12+ years of work experience in technology operations, FP&A or engineering operations.
• Experience owning engineering/R&D budgets at scale with annual planning and governance.
• Proven workforce planning and headcount governance with Recruiting and Finance.
• Vendor portfolio management including contract negotiations and SLAs.
• Capitalized Software accounting and R&D tax credit programs in US/Canada.

Mansioni

• Own the budget and workforce strategy for ORD and Auth0 across a 2,000+ person org.
• Direct R&D budget governance, program spend oversight and executive reviews.
• Own P&L framework for R&D lines of business and cost data for portfolio decisions.
• Model and optimize AI token spend with a forecasting framework.
• Lead engineering cost modeling and support pricing and large deals.
• Own R&D financial compliance including Capitalized Software entries and tax credits.
• Build and own the expense data platform on Snowflake for cost visibility.
• Oversee workforce strategy, headcount governance, and location strategy.
• Manage contingent workforce programs end to end.
• Oversee vendor operations and contract renewals in R&D.
