Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Finance Manager – R&D for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Sylmar, CA. The role partners with CRM R&D leadership to deliver analytics, budgeting and capital planning that inform strategic decisions and drive results.

You will lead multi-year investment analyses, coordinate forecasts and manage monthly close, with cross-functional collaboration and senior management visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Self starter and highly motivated; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, consolidate and develop an Annual Plan, LBE and other forecasts for CRM’s R&D.
• Provide financial insights and analytics to support strategic decisions on expenses and resourcing.
• Manage month-end close and reporting of metrics. Present results and drive action plans.
• Lead business case development of R&D projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop reports, dashboards and KPIs as required.
• Prepare ad hoc requests with financial modeling and capital planning.
