Job summary

Samson Sky is seeking a Facilities & Shop Technician in Prineville, OR to support prototype vehicle development and operations. You will maintain safe, clean, and operational facilities and shop areas, care for tools and equipment, troubleshoot facility and prototype systems, and assist engineering, fabrication, assembly, and R&D testing activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on facility/maintenance work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting
• Working familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
• Computer literacy and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and operational facilities and shop areas
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot facility and prototype systems
• Set up and operate shop equipment (CNC, welders, lifts) as authorized
• Support R&D testing, data collection, and documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and vendors
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records and improve shop processes
