Samson Sky in Prineville, OR seeks a Shop Technician to support prototype vehicle development in a hands-on, safety-conscious shop environment. You will maintain tools, inventory, and records, troubleshoot systems, and assist engineering, fabrication, assembly, and R&D testing activities.

The role requires a can-do mindset, adaptability, accurate documentation, and a focus on safety, cleanliness, and work quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical repair or hands-on fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly shop in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems related to shop equipment and prototypes.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, welders, lifts, and fabrication tools as authorized.
