Job summary

Vylor is seeking an R&D External Engagements Intern to join our team in Johnston, IA. The role involves supporting the R&D Investor & External Engagement team with planning and executing high-impact engagements across universities, investors, industry, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will research partners, participate in outreach activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, Public Affairs, Investor Relations, and Strategy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Interest in agriculture, science, R&D, innovation, communications, business, event management, public affairs, investor relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize complex information into clear, concise materials.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities.
• Comfort working collaboratively with a team while also taking ownership of assigned work and asking thoughtful questions when needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with SharePoint or project tracking tools is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite or travel occasionally for engagement activities, events, or team needs, as required.
