Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or CATIA.
• Familiarity with CNC machining or additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Interest or coursework in materials science, structural analysis, or aerospace applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of aerospace fasteners and related components using CAD software.
• Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.
• Create and update technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for production challenges.
• Assist in inspections and tests to ensure products meet industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Help maintain documentation for quality control procedures and reports.
• Analyze test data and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies to support innovation.
• Contribute to materials selection and testing for new product development.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities in design and manufacturing.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and project reviews.
• Maintain project schedules and track deliverables.
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
• Understand and observe safety guidelines and comply with Click Bond policies.
• Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
