Job summary

LaFrance Corp is seeking a Research & Development Engineering Co-op to join the team at our Innovation Lab beginning in September 2026. This role offers an engineering student the opportunity to contribute to real product and process development projects in a hands‑on environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering and a 3rd or 4th year co-op student.
• Curious, analytical, and eager to apply classroom learning to real-world R&D challenges.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the research and development of new materials, product lines, and processes.
• Assist in hands-on testing, data collection, and analysis to evaluate performance.
• Assist in trials, including setup, documentation, and execution under supervision.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and Project Managers to develop process improvements.
• Summarize findings and present results through reports and data visuals.
