Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking a Research and Development Engineer/Scientist Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. The six-month assignment offers hands-on work with a team of scientists and engineers developing and characterizing new products used by semiconductor manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student.
• 40 hours per week, M-F (8a-5p), January through June.
• Familiarity with university co-op requirements is required.
• Entegris does not sponsor H1-B now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop equipment for experimental setups to demonstrate proof of concept.
• Automate existing processes to enhance repeatability and data collection.
• Develop SOPs for analytical equipment and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
• Organize and document processes to improve development efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for R&D, including experimental data and processing.
