Entegris in Danbury, CT is seeking a Research and Development Engineer/Scientist Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6-month assignment involves collaborating with scientists and engineers to develop and characterize new products used by semiconductor manufacturers, including safe packaging and delivery of gases for ion implant and dry etch processes.

• Undergraduates in good academic standing (GPA 3.0+)
• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus
• Knowledge of PLC programming and data acquisition is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Design and build equipment for experimental setups to demonstrate proof of concept
• Automate existing processes to improve repeatability and data collection
• Develop standard operating procedures for analytical equipment
• Identify and work with suppliers to procure materials and equipment
• Organize and document processes to improve development efficiency
• Document R&D activities, data logging, and processing
