Job summary

Tate seeks an R&D Engineer in Glasgow, KY to drive product development from concept to production. You will design, prototype, test, and iterate solutions that meet performance and manufacturability goals, partnering with manufacturing and other teams to ensure smooth transitions to production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
3–7 years of experience in product development, engineering or R&D.
Solid understanding of design principles and product development processes.
Experience with CAD software and testing/validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

Own development of new products from concept through validation and implementation.
Design and engineer product solutions aligned with requirements.
Develop prototypes and conduct iterative testing to refine performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with manufacturing capabilities.
Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
Support transition of new products from development into production.
