Titan Formwork Systems in Tempe, AZ seeks an R&D Mechanical Engineer to drive development of new products from concept through commercialization. You will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering teams to design innovative, manufacturable and reliable products that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, including design, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and related engineering documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles, product development, prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Tempe, AZ, including regular work in a shop-floor environment.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, verbal communication, written communication, and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using SolidWorks with focus on manufacturability.
• Support full product life cycle from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create prototypes and evaluate designs using additive manufacturing and fabrication.
• Plan and document product testing, including destructive and non-destructive tests.
• Generate drawings, BOMs, technical documentation, test plans, and release packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Troubleshoot design and field issues and drive continuous improvement.
