Job summary

Titan Formwork Systems in Tempe, AZ seeks an R&D Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation from concept to production. You will design, prototype, test, and refine products, collaborating with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure reliable, manufacturable designs.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, design for manufacturability, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on prototyping, testing, and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, including design, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
• On-site work in Tempe, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using SolidWorks and other engineering tools.
• Support full life cycle product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create and evaluate prototype designs using additive manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, casting, injection molding.
• Plan, conduct, and document product testing, including destructive and non-destructive load testing.
• Generate manufacturing drawings, bills of material, technical documentation, engineering reports, test plans, and release packages.
• Design products with end user in mind for intuitive installation, field durability, and repairability.
