Job summary

Amcor is seeking new graduates to join our team in roles that support and drive innovative packaging solutions. You will contribute to research, development, and cost-out initiatives while gaining exposure to multiple products and processes.

As a Level I contributor, you will work across existing applications and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality to resolve technical challenges and learn risk management principles.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science preferred).
• Co-op or industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to apply scientific methods (DoE, statistics) to projects.
• A curious nature with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company's technical voice to the customer with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate to understand customer needs and drive design and implementation of products/processes.
• Exchange technical information to solve customer/technical needs.
• Support projects within the innovation pipeline with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality).
• Contribute to defining critical-to-quality specs and document development activities.
• Support Stage Gate programs and learn risk management principles.
• Plan, execute and analyze production trials using DOE, Lean, and statistics.
• Learn material/polymer properties and equipment capability to deliver solutions.
• Document and report work to maintain traceability.
